Furniture from a private party it's up to you to make sure if the furniture will fit into elevator or stairwell I can come by and measure the area but I will charge you for my time. How far do items have to be taken to truck or to your residence? Count the steps and flights of stairs. Do we have to carry a heavy items 100 yards down a hallway? This is important so we can schedule the appropriate amount of time. What are the shape of the stairwells? Straight up? U-shaped stairwell? Can the item be carried staight through the doorway or is it more complicated? Heavy Items - such as hot tubs, armoires, BBQ's, exercise machines. (Google the make and model of your item) Please find out the weight and dimensions of items. - Measure the size of items and width of doorways. - How many steps & flights of stairs? Count them please. - Use Google Maps to calculate the distance/time. - Does job require 2 people? 3 people? Is item considered heavy? - Did the store wrap the item or it's a display model and need us to      .  wrap?  -Any glass, can the glass be removed? - Antique? Very expensive? Hauling to Dump aka Transfer Station. - The costs maybe more if items are not at ground floor/garage. - Please don't bag items in trash bags that easily break.   Contractor Bags are best to use for heavy stuff. - Don't put hazardous waste in trash bags. I cannot always be there at an exact time because of traffic. Is there parking for me? Parking meters? Commercial Zone? I have a commercial parking plates and can park in yellow zone. Any one way streets? What about parking garage? Most underground garages have        6 feet 2 inches height limit.
